Tina Turner has been practicing Buddhism for over thirty-five years, and she credits the chanting of mantras with unlocking the doorway to inner peace. In particular, the words “Nam-myoho-renge-kyo” have remained her tried and true mantra, which keeps her feeling at ease, and aware.
Regardless of which type of spirituality you practice, chanting (and listening to) mantras are an incredible way to unlock peace, ease, and awareness.
The video clip below is a recording of a Hindu Mantra by Tina Turner, Regula Curti & Dechen Shak-Dagsay for the album ‘Children Beyond’. This mantra (in particular) evokes a state of bliss, and carries an energetic pattern that allows for visionary states through trance.
