Isaac Cordal’s ‘Cement Eclipses’ Critiques the Disconnection Between Society and Nature

Artist Isaac Cordal recently spent a month in New York City for a residency at Art Students League of New York.

His latest work,“Cement Eclipses“, places tiny figurines in unlikely places with the intention of critiquing society’s devalued relationship with nature. Cordal describes this work by saying, he wants the impact to cause us to “contemplate the demolition and reconstruction of everything around us.”
