The Bhagavad Gita was once described by Gandhi as his “spiritual dictionary”, and this timeless book continues to live up to that title for many who find resonance with it’s teachings. It is a source of endless knowledge, that for old generations and new, provides answers and guidance to many of our life’s questions.
The Gita “contains knowledge of five basic truths: Krishna (God), the individual soul, the material world, action in this world, and time. Bhagavad-gita thoroughly explains the nature of consciousness, the self, and the universe.” (summary from Krishna.com)
I, myself, have found that at times, life gets extremely busy, so when that is the case, I do not have as much time as I would like to sit down and read.
