Almost every day we get messages on our Twitter or Facebook with people asking if we are the Illuminati, because of our logo. So, we decided it would be a good idea to clarify our intention, and the significance of the symbols in our symbol. We are all familiar with the controversial “all seeing eye” on the back of the dollar bill, this symbol has been woven into our every day experience – as it seems it’s almost impossible to go a day without spending money. Our intention was to take this symbol, and transform it into something positive – by looking at the pyramid as an allegory of life, not as something that controls our lives.
Look at the pyramid as a poetic way of symbolizing our life’s journey. We begin with a base understanding, and through our experience we work our way to enlightenment (the top of the pyramid). All growth comes from the foundation we are formed upon, but that foundation is formed through experience and our own trial and error. We cannot understand light without experiencing dark, and we cannot appreciate life until we have lost. The moon and the star on the bottom right corner represents this concept, as is important to know that darkness is only present to cradle the stars. The OM symbol at the bottom left represents creation, and the sound of the universe being willed into existence. The infinity symbol represents the infinite nature of life, and that we are all connected to one another through a unified field of consciousness. Our “all seeing eye” at the top represents being able to clearly see from the one eye of truth, that will never deceive you…the “third eye” perhaps.
It is important to note that there is no right or wrong way to find your own understanding of the way of the world, and as you will find in your journey – the questions usually wind up being the answers, and you are your ultimate teacher. There is nothing you need to do to “become the light”/”become enlightened”…the truth is there’s no becoming, there’s only being. To be the light, simply be it. To become illuminated, ask the right questions and the answers will present themselves.
You don’t have to join anything, you don’t have to “follow” anyone – our intention is merely to inspire questions, to dig deeper, and to understand that if you look within, you will never be without. If you approach life with an open heart and an open mind – you’ll do just fine.
